Business Software Alliance, the non-profit organisation that represents the interests of global software developers, stated that the efforts of Dubai eGovernment to deliver public services through electronic channels and the launch of programs to boost computer literacy are major contributors to reducing software piracy in the UAE.

The Land Department, Government of Dubai, that manages the sale and purchase of land in Dubai, has stepped up its customer service by joining Dubai eGovernment's AskDubai contact center to provide information by telephone, fax or email.

Dubai Municipality has embarked on a project to set up a comprehensive information system for the administration of its central laboratories.

The project is being implemented in co-operation with one of the international companies that specialises in developing the programming of the administration of laboratories.
