Computer emergency response service will be created in Kazakhstan (CERT, Computer Emergency Response Team), the agency reports citing the Agency of Kazakhstan for Information and Communications.

"In connection with formation of the national information infrastructure, the computer emergency response service will be created to provide protection of the components of e-government at the Republican state enterprise of the center of technical support and analysis in telecommunications of Kazakhstan Agency for Information and Communications," the press service informed.

About KZT 700 mln will be allocated from the regional budget for introduction of Electronic Government in the region the next year, Kazinform refers to the press service of the regional Governor.

The decision was taken on the regular session of deputies of the regional maslikhat, who stated that the rural areas of the region are lack of electronic document management and common computer literacy of the population.

Ust Kamenogorsk is preparing to hold the IV international academic-practical conference on “Electronic government: results and prospects of development”, Kazinform refers to the press service of East Kazakhstan akimat (mayor’s office).

The organizers of the conference are the East Kazakhstan region akimat staff with the support of “Zubr” consulting center and “Rating” IT-company.

A sitting on the issues of electronic government chaired by Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Massimov has taken place in Ukimet Uyi today; Kazinform refers to the PM’s press service.

The participants considered world indicators of development of information and communication technologies and e-government.

Kazakh Premier Karim Massimov has visited an international exhibition-forum of the information and communications technologies “E-Kazakhstan” in the Alatau sports complex.

“President Nursultan Nazarbayev has set a task - to rank among the 50 most developed states in the world. Development of the electronic Kazakhstan is one of the key segments of our progressive advance. I think we are on the right way and today’s conference is the part of this process,” the PM said.
