Kazakh Prime Minister Danial Akhmetov has set a three-month deadline to complete the timetable for the adoption of an e-government programme.

"I give three months for the completion of work on versions of the concept and preparation of a final proposal on the timetable for adopting a state e-government program," Prime Minister Akhmetov has said.

Today in the Government a regular session of the E-Government Concept proposal team chaired by deputy PM Grigory Marchenko has taken place, our agency has learnt in the PM’s press service.

The participants of the task group are representatives of central and local executive bodies, private sector and Kazakhstani Association of IT companies. They surveyed the draft of the E-Government Concept developed by the Informatization and Communication Agency and discussed further trends in realization of shift of state management to electronic model.
