A regular session on realization of the State Program on Formation of E-Government has been held today at Ukimet Uyi. It was chaired by Kazakhstan PM Daniyal Akhmetov.

PM got acquainted with a comprehensive plan for 2007 on reduction of information inequality and underlined that realization of these measures will define future of State program.

According to specialists about 590 thousand persons are going to receive training on computer literacy by the end of next year. They are: government employers, workers of state-financed organizations, military men, nurslings from orphan asylums and laborers of extra-budgetary spheres.

Next year summer schools plan to attract more than 1000 teachers and 2000 students to train Kazakhstan nationals. According to Deputy Chairman of Kazakhstan’s Agency on Informatization and Communication K. Yessekeyev upon completion of computer literacy courses the certificates will be handed to users. This year Kazakh Agency is expected to implement 460 points of common network access to Internet.

Thereby, the first information stage of the State Program comes to an end this year in due time. 900 information services are going to be realized on e-government's web-portal by the end of 2006. Program of interdepartmental electronic document management was implemented and it is successfully functioning for today. Work on creation of state database of natural and legal persons is carrying out at this moment.
