The Ministry of Information and Communications will assist Ninh Binh with the transformation of digital operations to make the northern locality a model province in Vietnam, Minister Nguyen Manh Hung has affirmed.
Minister Hung, who is also Vice Chairman of the National Committee for Digital Transformation, had a working session on June 14 with provincial leaders on the process of e-Government and digital transformation.

The north central province of Thanh Hoa has been implementing digital transformation for over one year across its localities in line with the resolution of the 19th provincial Party Congress for the 2022-2025 tenure.
The provincial Party Committee has also issued Resolution 06-NQ/TU on digital transformation in the province to 2025 with orientations to 2030, which defines digital transformation as a strategic task which is both urgent and long-term, thus needing a roadmap along with suitable and stable steps as well as suitable focus and main points.

France will provide technical assistance for Vietnam to streamline administrative procedures, improve its business environment and build the e-government and digital transformation under a cooperation programme between the Vietnamese Government Office and the French Embassy in Vietnam released on June 3.
The programme on cooperation in administrative modernisation in combination with digital transformation in 2022-2023 is within the framework of a memorandum of understanding between the Office and the French Ministry of Economy and Finance, on e-government development and administrative modernisation.

The Thừa Thiên Huế Institute for Development Studies, in coordination with the Danish Embassy in Vietnam, on June 7 organised the “Cycling – The story of a green road”, an activity aimed at turning the ancient imperial capital of Huế into a cultural, eco-friendly and smart city.
The event drew the participation of Danish Ambassador to Vietnam Kim Højlund Christensen, leaders of the central province of Thừa Thiên Huế and hundreds of people who cycle through many roads of the city.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) has created the necessary legal framework for the authentication of electronic contracts in Vietnam and is ready to grant operating licences to authenticators from June.
Dang Hoang Hai, Director of the Vietnam E-Commerce and Digital Economy Agency, believes that online authentication will bring great benefits to the business sector, notably in terms of costs.
