Complaints and suggestions about Bahrain's government services submitted electronically have increased by more than 50 per cent over the past three months.

The 54pc jump in the number of submissions to the National Suggestions and Complaints System “also known as Tawasul“ has been attributed to an increasing awareness among the public about "the benefits of using technology rather than traditional means of interacting with various government entities" by the e-Government Authority, which runs the service in co-ordination with the Bahrain Centre for Excellence and other government departments.
