LATE last month, the Finance Mi- nistry made it compulsory for its 35,000 suppliers throughout the country to be ePerolehan-enabled or risk losing out on possible government-related business opportunities.

Abdullah Launches Identification Card For Security Guards
Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi Tuesday launched identification cards for security guards as part of efforts to upgrade the quality of their service and enhance the status of the security services industry in the country.

The Malaysian government is increasing efforts to bring all government procurement processes online under the e-perolehan program, the national news agency Berita Nasional Malaysia (Bernama) said Tuesday.
