Apart from saving money for the Government, e-procurement, which comes under the e-government service, will be able to replenish supplies quickly through electronic quotations.
Some suppliers are enjoying more than 40% increase in sales, some even more than 100%, according to a statement issued at the e-Perolehan Consumer Day in Putrajaya.

Sources said the companies were asked to tender for the supply of an integrated computer system for the courts covering case management, court recordings and management of transcriptions, as well as such IT infrastructure as local area connectivity.
Dr Mahathir said the second phase would involve expanding the MSC to other cyber cities in the country, and, later, various parts of the world.
