The Azerbaijani State Committee for Land and Cartography has adopted administrative regulations for nine types of e-services, the committee said on Friday.

Among them are getting information about the State Committee for form number, on a plot of land on the number of the inventory, preparation of maps of municipalities, work on geodesy, gravimetry, photogrammetry, fortography, engineering, surveying, and authorization to data from the land registry.

A pilot project has been developed to introduce a single document circulation system to stare bodies, a board meeting on review of the first quarter 2012 of the ICT Ministry has said.

In the first phase, the project is planned to be applied in the structures of the ICT Ministry, Gun.Az reported.

E-services of the Azerbaijani State Property Committee have been integrated into the 'Electronic government' portal, Azerbaijani deputy minister of communications and IT Elmir Valizade said at a public presentation on 'E-services in the management and registration of property: Ensuring transparency and efficiency,' today. He said that e-services rendered by the committee are currently available on the portal.

"We think that the number of e-services presented on the portal will be increased in the future," he said. "The mechanism of their implementation will be further improved."

The work with the state bodies in this direction is being conducted upon a presidential decree dated May 23, 2011 on certain measures for rendering electronic services. He said that the formation of electronic services in Azerbaijan enters into the active phase of its development today.

Azerbaijan has come a long way in its development for over the past 10 years and now it is in a group of the countries with high average incomes, the head of the World Bank (WB) representation in Azerbaijan Joseph Owen said at a public presentation on 'E-services in the administration and registration of property: To ensure transparency and efficiency'.

"Azerbaijan should continue to diversify the economy and further improve the business environment and the introduction of electronic government services is important in this regard," Owen said. He noted that the involvement of the citizens is also important.

The Azerbaijani State Property Committee will prepare an electronic data base of real estate cadastre and digital cadastral map of Baku for the next two to three years, committee chairman Karam Hasanov said at the public presentation on 'E-services in the management and property registration: transparency and efficiency' on Thursday.

The committee has today presented electronic services for re-registration of rights over real estate and obtaining references, as well as the sale of confiscated property by the State Committee and others.
