The Azerbaijani State Property Committee will prepare an electronic data base of real estate cadastre and digital cadastral map of Baku for the next two to three years, committee chairman Karam Hasanov said at the public presentation on 'E-services in the management and property registration: transparency and efficiency' on Thursday.

The committee has today presented electronic services for re-registration of rights over real estate and obtaining references, as well as the sale of confiscated property by the State Committee and others.

The State Committee on Property Issues has today started the application of e-services, it will eliminate negative cases, said chairman of the Committee Karam Hasanov.

To him, new services will allow to reduce official-citizen communication to minimum and eliminate wasted time. At the same time, the citizens will receive necessary certificates via the e-services in a short time. Besides, confiscation property will be realized in a e-format, APA reports.

Communication and Information Technologies Ministry of Azerbaijan has announced expansion of electronic services list.

Deputy Communication and Information Technologies Minister of Azerbaijan Elmir Velizadeh has reported that to date the list of about 300 electronic services has been worked out which are planned for activation within State Program "Electronic Government".

"In the course of the project implementation we are going to increase the number of electronic services through expansion of the state services list provided in electronic format. To date, 16 state establishments have been connected to e-government portal, 12 of which provide about 60 electronic services. We expect that after opening of primary version of the portal the number of state establishments connected to the portal and people employing e-services provided by state bodies will grow day by day. The portal will be fully launched when the country’s all state bodies are connected to it", - he noted.

The State Committee for Land & Cartography of Azerbaijan has presented an interactive e-map of the Apsheron Peninsula on E-Government portal.

The Ministry of Communications & IT reports that as a result of work conducted by the Committee, today the map contains information about 35,000 plots of land, and in the future it is expected to increase this figure up to 500,000 plots.

The Azerbaijani Communications and IT Ministry has launched the primary version of its e-government portal (ehdis.az), Communications and IT Minister Ali Abbasov told media today.

He said that at present, the list of electronic services has been prepared and approved by the Cabinet of Ministers.

"We are ready to render about 60 e-services to the population at this portal," he said. "A certain part is delivered via "single window" principle. Besides rendering electronic services to the population, our main goal is to create conditions for citizens to submit their proposals, the requirements for electronic services. This will allow creating new services to meet the needs of the population."
