The Azerbaijani State Property Committee will prepare an electronic data base of real estate cadastre and digital cadastral map of Baku for the next two to three years, committee chairman Karam Hasanov said at the public presentation on 'E-services in the management and property registration: transparency and efficiency' on Thursday.

The committee has today presented electronic services for re-registration of rights over real estate and obtaining references, as well as the sale of confiscated property by the State Committee and others.

"We are preparing for this work in the capital," he said. "Similar work will be completed in Sumgait by late 2012. Cadastre work is being conducted in Ganja and Sheki."

He said that digital maps of real estate objects of all areas in the country will be made due to internal potential and financial resources within the international projects for the next few years.

The State Committee has been working to establish a centralised electronic inventory database of all existing objects of immovable property, in line with modern requirements.
