
A comprehensive plan on the fourth industrial revolution (IR4.0) and digital roadmap will be announced by month-end in an effort to ensure Malaysians have access to better connectivity with a wider coverage.
Communications and Multimedia Minister Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah (picture) said the government will focus on five components for the roadmap which are digital talent development, emerging technology, the economic prospects along with the society and governmental part of it.

The concept of smart city, green city and sports city will drive Putrajaya's vision for the next five years, said Perbadanan Putrajaya (PPj) president Datuk Dr Aminuddin Hassim.
"The previous development was more on physical and infrastructural development (as an administrative centre) but now the focus is more on filling the gaps," he told Bernama recently.

After 25 years of its establishment, he said Putrajaya had rapidly grown, not only in the physical aspect but also in the socio-economic development.
