By Order №332 of Azerbaijan Cabinet of Ministers from November 29 amendments were made to the List of the state e-services approved by Order №191 from November 24, 2011.

In accordance with the amendments, the State Agency for Citizens Service and Social Innovations acting under the President of Azerbaijan was included into the list of authorities providing state e-services.

E-government portal creates conditions for the provision of e-services to citizens of foreign countries along with the citizens of Azerbaijan at present, the Azerbaijan Communication and Information Technology Ministry said on November 22.

A new section called "Non-resident" has been added to e- government portal www.e-gov.az. Initially, three government agencies have placed their electronic services in the section, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, State Committee for Work with Diaspora, as well as State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, the ministry said.

The Azerbaijan Communications and Information Technologies Ministry submitted a new strategy for the ICT development in 2013-2020 to the government.

The news was announced by Isfandiyar Aliyev, Head of Strategic Development Department at the Ministry on November 12.

Adoption of the new document is expected by the year-end, he said.

Today, along with the citizens of our country, e-government portal creates conditions for the provision of e-services to citizens of foreign countries, the Azerbaijani Communication and IT Ministry told Trend today.

Thus, a new section called "Non-resident" has been added to e-government portal (www.e-gov.az). Initially, three government agencies the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, State Committee for Work with Diaspora, as well as State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs have placed their electronic services in "Non-resident section", the ministry said.

The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry joined the e-government portal, it was announced on October 31.

The news was announced by the Information Computing Centre (ICC) of the Communications and Information Technologies Ministry of Azerbaijan in an interview with Trend.

As the ICC said, the Foreign Ministry's e-service on reception of documents and applications for the accreditation of foreign journalists is currently integrated into the portal.
