"We created these websites as an effective medium to reach a large audience. This will be the first point of entry for anyone requiring any information on Bahrain," said EDB chief executive Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa.
These are some of the first services made available online by the ministry.
Other services will be deployed on the e-government portal shortly as part of the ministry's commitment to provide world-class e-services to Bahrain's residents, said Works Ministry information technology director Hisham Sater.
The awards were presented by Deputy Prime Minister and Supreme Committee for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) chairman Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa.

The toll-free National Call Centre will allow callers to do everything from pay their utility bills to call an ambulance, said Bahrain eGovernment Agency (EGA) chief executive officer Mohammed Al Qaed.
He said it would be the first such centre in the Middle East and tenders had already been floated for the contract to set up the service.
"Through our e-government strategy, we have placed the roadmap and action plan of the government for a period of three years," said Deputy Prime Minister and Information and Communication Technology Supreme Committee chairman Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa.
