The conference entitled "From E-Government to I-Government: How Information Government will Revolutionize the Public Sector" to be held on 23 - 24 May 2005, is being organised by the Dubai School of Government (DSG) in partnership with Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government.

Dubai has long been considered as one of the regions leaders in digital government and ICDL training. To date, the emirates e-government departments, through the Dubai eGovernment platform, are delivering no less than 1,500 e-services, of which around 1,200 of these are transactional services while the rest are informational services.
'We have achieved this great feat in just three years of launching our first batch of online services,' said Qassim Sultan, Director General of Dubai Municipality.
'This is an indication of the ever-increasing degree of e-service adoption by DM customers - both individuals and businesses,' he said.
