The 3rd international “PKI Forum Ukraine 2016” ends today in Kiev, Ukraine, which is the information venue for discussion and exchange of best practices in the spheres of PKI, e-ID and trust services between international experts and representatives of government sector, business and public unions.

The audience of the forum consists of the representatives of public authorities, cybersecurity specialists, e-ID and signature developers, mobile network operators and providers of online payment services as well as private investors.

In accordance with the Open Government Initiative National Action Plan for 2016-2018, the Council of State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations under the Auspices of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Friday held a constituent assembly of the Government-Civil Society Dialogue Platform on Open Government Initiative.

The assembly was attended by representatives of state agencies and non-governmental organizations.

The initiative of the Communications and High Technologies Ministry of Azerbaijan on application of certified USB-keys for access to e-services is an important step in addressing the problems of popularization of e-signatures’ use.

Osman Gunduz, a coordinator of the Public Council for e-Government Services Promotion at the ASAN-service under the President of Azerbaijan, announced about this while talking to Trend on September 21.

Azerbaijan and Korea are bolstering joint efforts to offer better services in public administration on the occasion of Interior Minister Hong Yun-sik's latest visit to Azerbaijan. The Embassy of Azerbaijan in Seoul said last week that Hong attended a forum in the Azerbaijani capital of Baku from Aug. 18 to 20 to discuss ways of using information and communications technology (ICT) to improve the public administration system with relevant officials there. Hong signed a memorandum of understanding concerning mutual cooperation in e-governance with Inam Karimov, chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations. Hong also met Prime Minister Artur Rasizade and Communications and High Technologies Minister Ramin Guluzade.
