The Governments of Hong Kong and Finland renewed a memorandum of understanding aiming to seek more collaborative efforts in the field of Information Communications Technology (ICT).
According to Elizabeth Tse, Permanent Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development (Communications and Technology), the renewal of the memorandum signifies the continuation of the close collaboration between the two governments, particularly in areas such as e-government, cloud computing, wireless technologies, and creative industries.
Specifically, the cooperation will seek to exchange best practices and ideas on government service delivery, multimedia and software applications and products, e-commerce, broadband networks and applications, wireless and mobile applications, digital broadcasting, and IT manpower development.
