USA: Rescuing missed information
Cutting-edge commercial wares give agencies a whole new outlook on searching for information
About a decade ago, federal agencies started to grapple with the specter of storing and sharing mass quantities of information. A governmentwide search standard seemed like the right solution at the time. It would ensure that important records would remain accessible regardless of which agency or system housed them.
Ireland: State falls short in 60% of e-government projects
Almost 60 per cent of technology projects given
priority status by the government three years ago have yet to be
implemented, were not finished on time or have been scrapped.
Just 29 out of 70 flagship e-government projects have
been finished on schedule, despite significant government investment
into a host of technology systems, according to analysis conducted by
The Sunday Business Post.
in Tallinns mittelalterlicher Altstadt.
jungen Esten so gut ankommt.
Laptops.
Estland: Mäßiges Interesse an Online-Stimmabgabe
USA: GSA’s handbook provides road map to PIV I compliance
With the third iteration of its Identity
Management Handbook, the General Services Administration has made it
easier for agencies to meet the quickly approaching first requirement
of Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12.
Heeding the calls for a fillable form, GSA
officials issued the Personal Identity Verification I checklist in
Microsoft Word format instead of just Portable Document Format.
