Kazpost intends to raise additional capital in the form of loans and in the form of increasing the participation of its principal shareholder in order to implement innovative projects.

Kazpost is expanding the range of electronic services as part of its activities in fulfilling proposals announced by the Kazakh President in his state of the nation address. Postmen are already developing such services as e-bills and take active part in the e-government program. Currently, postmen are working intensively with the Public Service Centers. Any citizen of Kazakhstan may submit documents to PSCs and obtain formalized documents through Kazpost or they can hand over the documents in electronic form, and they will be delivered by Kazpost as well.

The registration book of citizens known as the «house register» will be cancelled on July 1, 2012 in Kazakhstan. Citizens will have to present an address certificate from the state database of private individuals to whom it may concern. The Migration Police Committee turned to Kazakh citizens with a request to check their residence registration as well as that of their families on the e-government portal. All the registered users can do this by clicking the «check address data» link in the «citizens» section. Users will have to enter their individual identification number and identity card number in the blank field. If the database does not have information on residence registration, they should turn to a public service center and adjust their data.

Deputy Head of the Kazakh President's Administration Bauyrzhan Baibek has chaired a national seminar on the issues regarding improvement of efficiency of public administration today.

The issues on improvement public administration, efficiency of the control activities and conducting ratings of regions were discussed within the seminar. Special attention was paid to the system of annual estimation of the effectiveness of the public bodies' work, which is carried out in accordance with the President's Decree.

A new service is now available for car owners at the portal of the Kazakh electronic government. From now on, drivers can view the traffic violations captured by photo and video surveillance.

According to the Kazakh Ministry of Communication and Information, the volume of e-services rendered to the citizens of Kazakhstan e-government is continuing to grow.

To date, the portal has issued 8.67 million electronic certificates with about 800 thousand Kazakhstan citizens possessing digital signatures.

The Kazakhstan Road Police has applied an electronic service enabling drivers to pay fines through "electronic government" website, the Kazakh Internal Ministry reported.

Last November the Interior Ministry in cooperation with the Ministry of Communications and Information developed a mechanism of payment through the "E-government" website.

The traditional practice of paying fines foresees the necessity to stand in two lines - at a bank and the subdivision of administrative practice.
