  • Kosovo to Start e-Governance in Four Years

    Kosovo’s Public institutions will be ‘digitalised’ within four years, officials pledge.

    “Kosovo has no time to wait… it should reform the public administration and enable complete governance,” Arsim Bajrami, the Minister of Public Services said, adding a fully electronic administration is possible.

    “Digitalisation of the public administration does not mean staff downsizing but it is rather cost-effective,” Bajrami added.

  • Switzerland to help Kosovo in e-government

    A Delegation of the Government of Kosovo, headed by the Minister for Public Services Arsim Bajrami, is visiting Switzerland. During the visit Bajrami met with the General Director of the International Association KITE, Jean Marie Lechberk.

    Minister Bajrami said that he has received promises by Ms. Lechberkfor technical and material support for the implementation of e-government in the public administration of Kosovo.

  • The Millennium Project to establish a Node in Kosovo

    After a successful international gathering of eGovernment leaders at the Kosovo ICT Conference, preliminary meetings were held in Pristina, Kosovo, with representatives of the government, private sector, NGOs, and the European Union about establishing a Node of The Millennium Project in Kosovo. The proposed Node would identify thought leaders, scholars, and business planners who could participate in global futures research and make the results available to the people of Kosovo. It would also initiate projects with the support of The Millennium Project system of 46 Nodes around the world.
