The Federal Government has officially inaugurated the National Broadband Alliance for Nigeria (NBAN) in a significant step toward boosting internet connectivity in Nigeria.
The initiative aims to accelerate the country’s digital growth and bridge the existing broadband gap.
The Executive Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Dr. Aminu Maida, inaugurated the NBAN in Lagos on Tuesday.

Lagos is on the cusp of a technological revolution in urban transportation. The state government is poised to launch the “Omo-Eko” App, a cutting-edge mobile application designed to transform how residents and visitors navigate the city’s bustling streets.
“This cutting-edge application, now 90 percent complete, is designed to provide residents and visitors with a one-stop solution for all transportation-related activities and essential updates about Lagos State,” stated Commissioner for Transportation, Oluwaseun Osiyemi, in an official announcement via his X account on Friday.
