Siemens Business Services (SBS) darf sich über einen Großauftrag vom südafrikanischen Arbeitsamt Department of Labour freuen.
Die Siemens Service-Sparte (SBS) hat vom Department of Labour – dem südafrikanischen Arbeitsamt – den Auftrag erhalten, die komplette IT-Infrastruktur der Behörde zu übernehmen. Für 136 Mio. Euro wird der IT-Dienstleister zehn Jahre lang Hard- und Software sowie Netze und Server des Department of Labour betreiben. Das teilte das Unternehmen heute in München mit. In diesem Zeitraum wird die Siemens-Tochter die behördlichen Prozesse und Technologien ausbauen. Der Auftraggeber erwartet dadurch reduzierte Kosten.
