Stellent, Inc., a provider of content management solutions, has announced the release of the Stellent City/County eGovernment Solution, a content management product suite offering a pricing model designed to accommodate county and municipal agencies' diverse application needs and budgets. The Stellent City/County eGovernment Solution annual software license is priced per resident and includes maintenance fees. The content management product suite enables government agencies to use the Stellent technology to deploy an unlimited number of egovernment initiatives, such as public Web sites, intranets, and document management applications, while enabling an unlimited number of content contributors and consumers to use the system. The new product suite is targeted toward cities and counties with populations between 25,000 and 200,000, a segment that comprises 93 percent of cities and 82 percent of counties in the United States. Current Stellent city and county government customers include the City and County of San Francisco, City of Phoenix, Ariz.; City and County of Los Angeles, Douglas County, Colo., City of Aurora, Ill., Scott County, Minn., City of Seattle, Wash., the London Borough of Lewisham, and City of Lenexa, Kan. The Stellent City/County eGovernment Solution is immediately available for local government agencies in North America and Europe. Also available is an "Implementation Analysis for City/County eGovernments" services package designed to help government agencies identify and prioritize their content management needs.
