Marc-Henri Desportes, Deputy Head of Government e-tax programme, announces implementation.
The tax records of 33 million French tax households have been set online by the ministry web site. Currently more than a million taxpayers submit their tax returns online, and it has chalked up 22 million visits since the beginning of the year. Desportes believes that enabling citizens to review their tax affairs online will help to increase the proportion declaring their income online.
