The Government of Dominica through the Information, Communication And Technology Unit is utilizing mobile applications to enable citizens to understand and access important information and services.
On Monday, October 19th, Government launched its Internal Directory Mobile App which is the newest addition to Government’s e- government program which began in 2009.

The Ministry of National Security and the Information Communication Technology Unit have launched a Drivers and Automobile Information System and a Dominica Financial Intelligence Unit E-Filing System.
These applications developed by the Information and Communication Unit represent the newest additions to the e -government programme which commenced in 2009.

An essential part of the e-Government initiative is the development of a website for the government of Dominica. Initial funding for the development of the government's website was made possible in 2006 by the Caribbean Open Trade Support Programme. Additional funding was received from the ICT Development Programme SFA 2005 in June 2008.
