Dubai is holding the 19th GCC eGovernment and eServices Conference from 18 - 22 May. The event features sponsorship from globally respected organizations in the field, including Dubai Court, Emirates Identity Authority, AWQAF, ROLTA, King Saud University, Thomson Reuters, Digital Flow Information Technologies, Sejel (ICT partners), Naseej (strategic partners), DAR ALATAA COMPANY INTERNATIONAL, d.erp (media partner) and Al Riyadh Newspaper.

A number of other events will be held in conjunction with the Conference, including the GCC eMaturity report, eGov ICT Exhibition, GCC Search Engine Launch, 18th Middle East eGovernment and eService Excellence Awards and Highlighting Cyber Crime '&' Hacktivism.

Mr. Ali Al Kamali, Managing Director of the organisers, Datamatix, speaking about the conference said, "As we move towards the fourth generation of eGovernment and eServices, it becomes a shared responsibility on our part to encourage innovation and elevate the standards of modern eGovernment systems. The conference aims to highlight the effective collaboration of government and business organizations in the implementation of the latest eGovernment and eServices systems in the region." The 5-day event gathers global organisations and technological institutions, regional and global VIPs, federal and state government representatives, eGovernment executives, CIOs, decision makers from government, business and international institutions, IT experts from around the world and many others, as well as regional media.
