The project aims on the one hand to strengthen national and local systems’ integrity by providing transparency and accountability to citizens and municipalities in order to improve the municipal services provided. On the other hand, it is an opportunity to engage citizens more actively in the work of the municipal administrations to solve problems.
"The Ministry of Information Society and Administration fully supports this project which will facilitate the communication between citizens and municipalities, as well as simplify the delegation of tasks in the municipalities. Investing in building the information society remains one of the main priorities of the Government. This is the only way in which technology can be a major catalyst for the development of the [country]," said the Deputy Minister in her speech.
The mayor of Aerodrom municipality, Mr Ivica Konevski added: "I expect that the application ‘See, report, fix’ will be equally successful as the previous two projects being implemented in cooperation with UNDP [United Nations Development Programme] and the citizens will be given a good opportunity at any time to remind us and tell us where the most urgent need exists for us to intervene."
