A review meeting on 'E-governance Quick Win' was held at the Prime Minister's Office on Monday.

The meeting was informed that at least 12 ministries and departments of the government are currently providing E-service to the people.

People of remote areas started getting information about earnings through Union Information Center (UIC), and Agriculture Information and Communication Center (AICC).

Other E-services include PDP and Titas Gas bill payment through electronic system, land phone bill payment and information on polling centers, railway passenger and daily market price through SMS, the meeting informed.

Besides, various necessary forms of the government departments are available in internet.

UNDP-funded Access to Information Programme oraganised the meeting. 50 officials of different ministries and departments took part in the meeting with Secretary to the Prime Minister's Office Mollah Wahiduzzaman in the chair.
