The Eurasian Development Bank (EDB), Rusprom and Transcom on March 27 signed a trilateral memorandum of cooperation to jointly implement a project to set up and develop an integrated e-government system in Kyrgyzstan for public and municipal authorities in the framework of the Decree declaring 2019 the Year of the Development of Regions and Digitalisation of the Country passed by the President of the Kyrgyz Republic on 11 January 2019, the EDB said.
Under the memorandum, the EDB will take part in Rusprom’s preparations of the concept, feasibility study, calculations, business plan and cost estimates for the Project and in ensuring long-term investment.
Transcom, on its part, will ensure technical implementation of the Project.
A successful result of the joint work under the memorandum will be the preparation of a comprehensive proposal on Project implementation, subject to the indicative terms of financing and all necessary regulatory and economic substantiations.
The document provides that the parties will arrange mutual consultations and joint working meetings, share information, and, where necessary, form expert groups.
Also, on March 28, the Eurasian Development Bank and Kyrgyzstan’s Manas International Airport (MIA) signed a memorandum of understanding to consider the Bank’s participation in developing and financing investment projects run by MIA. According to the agreement, the parties will share information, arrange meetings and consultations, and set up joint working and advisory groups.
