The participants of the task group are representatives of central and local executive bodies, private sector and Kazakhstani Association of IT companies. They surveyed the draft of the E-Government Concept developed by the Informatization and Communication Agency and discussed further trends in realization of shift of state management to electronic model. The principal goals of creation of creation of E-Government are to enhance effectiveness of informational openness and transparency of the state management system in order to provide citizens with high quality services.
The strategic aims of shift to E-Government are realization of citizens’ rights for access to all kinds of open state information of individual and public significance.
Marchenko commenting upon the draft of the concept emphasized its importance in defining of conceptual approaches to integration of state bodies’ information systems. According to him, there has been done grand and important work in the context of realization of the E-Government implementation goals defined by the President in his Message to people for 2004.
Upon completion of the sitting the draft concept was approved at the working group level. Now the draft of the document will be submitted to the Government’s consideration.
