A new service is now available for car owners at the portal of the Kazakh electronic government. From now on, drivers can view the traffic violations captured by photo and video surveillance.

According to the Kazakh Ministry of Communication and Information, the volume of e-services rendered to the citizens of Kazakhstan e-government is continuing to grow.

To date, the portal has issued 8.67 million electronic certificates with about 800 thousand Kazakhstan citizens possessing digital signatures.

Now the procedure of obtaining a digital signature is simplified considerably and takes only a few minutes.

Holders of a digital signature do not have to leave home to make an appointment at a public service centre, pay utilities, taxes or fines issued by the traffic police.

Saken Sarsenov, Deputy Kazakh Minister of Communication and Information: «Payment for traffic violations fines online has seen a four-fold. Since the beginning of 2011, this sum has reached 3.35 million tenge. The amount of taxes paid online has increased 3 times. Since the beginning of 2011, e-government portal users have paid 10 million tenge online for various services and fines.»
