Baku is planning to host an international conference “eGov 3.0: Development tendencies and new prospects on 3 December.

The conference will be attended by Deputy Minister of Communications and High Technologies of Azerbaijan Elmir Valizade, representatives of the Azerbaijan Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, State Committee for Property Issues, State Customs Committee, State Agency for public services and social innovations at the President of Azerbaijan.

The list of participants also includes representatives of the Ministry of Communications and Mass Communications of Russia, Skolkovo technology park, Microsoft, heads of the WB profile affiliates, Federal Chancellery of Austria, board of the Turkish Prime Minister, specialists on e-government from Korea, Czech Republic, Moldova and other countries.

The first plenary session of the conference will focus on ‘E-government as a sustainable development factor’.

In particular, the participants will touch upon the approaches and strategic vision of the future e-government and e-administration, the work done for formation of the information society, particularly, e-government in the country, policy and strategy of electronic government.

The topic of the second session is the ‘Services of e-government: progressive examples”. The session will focus on innovative services, applied as part of e-government for improving the welfare of the citizens, as well as best solutions in this sphere.

A meeting on the level of ministers will be held as part of the conference.
