Commercial creding with participation of e-government (through providing of e-statements) starts in Azerbaijan.

According to Bank of Baku OJSC the relevant agreement has been signed between the Data Processing Center under the Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Communications and High Technologies and Bank of Baku OJSC.

To arrange such a credit the following procedure should be followed up:

First, an applicant should pass registration at the site www.e-gov.az, follow to section “Vətəndaşa aid fərdi məlumatlar üzrə elektron arayışın verilməsi” and send his data to the bank. For registration an applicant can use e-signature certificate, ASAN imza service or a special code. To receive such a code an applicant should pass online registration. A code can also be received free of charge in all post offices.

“Based on the signed agreement, registration points of the Data Processing Center will be opened in all branches of the bank. Upon presenting ID card a citizen will be able to get a code. Such code is required to enter a personal account at the site to send an e-statement. A customer can send a statement from his office, home or bank (using special computers)” – the bank informs.

The sent statement will be signed electronically. Depending on paying capacity and credit history of the sender he/she will be offered credit in cash, Bolkart or Dostlar Klubu card.

Issue of e-statements has already started in the head office of Bank of Baku OJSC (42, Ataturk av.), Within a month issues of such statements will also start in all Baku and regional branches of the bank.

New innovation projects are expected to be announced soon within the cooperation between the Bank of Baku and e-governmental portal.
