The State Customs Committee (SCC) of Azerbaijan is negotiating with the Ministries of Economic Development and of Finance and the State Border Service about their connection to the single automated control system (VAIS).
SCC deputy chairman Asker Abdullayev says that within the framework of State E-Government Program the Committee was created VAIS system in connection with introduction of one-stop shop for undergoing customs control.
"The State Committee on Standardization, Metrology & Patents and the State Regulatory Agency for Nuclear & Radiological Emergency have already been connected to VAIS system. Negotiations are underway with the Economic Development and Finance Ministries and the State Border Service on their connection to VAIS,” Abdullaev said.
