Isbandiyar Aliyev, the director of the Information Society Department of the Ministry of Communications & Information Technologies, says that network of high-speed Internet Azdatacom will be used as a base of single e-government infrastructure.
“Azdatacom will be used as basis of infrastructure, but if necessary there can also be involved additional fiber-optic lines,” Aliyev noted.
He added that creation of e-government system itself is planned with the involvement of local private companies, and a tender procedure will be announced in the future in this connection.
"Creation of single infrastructure will facilitate the development of electronic document flow, wide use public electronic services by the population,” Aliyev said.
