For the first time and on occasion of beginning of Iranian New Year, Norouz, Isfahan Municipality has installed three digital information kiosks, titled “Information Windows” at city center.

According to Isfahan Municipality PR, these kiosks are located in three highly populated, high traffic locations of the city, namely the Imam Hussain Sq., Qadir Garden, and in front of Isfahan Municipality’s FAVA (ICT) Organization.

The information available at the kiosks is on residential centers and hotels, recreational centers and public places, transportation stations, restaurants, handicraft and souvenir shops, shopping malls, and other public services and facilities.

The project is aimed at promotion of IT technology and materializing the objectives of e-city, e-government within a fifteen day period within the barriers of Isfahan metropolitan city.

If the project receives the broad welcome of the public, Isfahan Municipality intends to install similar permanent kiosks in various parts of this historic Iranian city relying on cooperation of other concerned organs.
