Early February 18, provincial People's Committee held an online conference to review the results of digital transformation efforts, the set of indicators for direction, administration and assessment of the quality of services (Indicator set 766) in 2024; outline directions and tasks for 2025. The conference also discussed plans for implementing Binh Duong's e-government architecture framework 3.0 towards a fully digital government.

The conference was chaired by Vo Van Minh, Vice Secretary of provincial Party Committee and Chairman of provincial People’s Committee; Colonel Ta Van Dep, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Director of provincial Police Agency and Le Tuan Anh, Director of provincial Department of Information and Communications, with the participation of local leaders at the meeting points of nine districts and cities.

Under digital transformation, Binh Duong achieved significant results in the 2024 Index 766. Notably, the province’s online public service index increased by 1.5 points, ranking first nationwide. Binh Duong's information system for handling administrative procedures has been ranked in the Top 1 of centrally run cities with Index 766 serving people and businesses in the leading group in the country.

On this occasion, provincial People's Committee awarded the certificates of merit to 21 collectives and 27 individuals for their outstanding achievements in digital transformation and their contributions to the successful organization of the 2nd National Forum on Digital Economy and Digital Society Development in 2024, held in Binh Duong.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Minh acknowledged and highly appreciated the local achievements of digital transformation and Index 766 in 2024. He also instructed departments, agencies and district and city-level People's Committees to focus on implementing nine key tasks. Among these tasks, emphasis is placed on enhancing the accountability of leaders in executing digital transformation, recognizing it as a critical and ongoing political mission. Additionally, the province will vigorously implement the e-government architecture 3.0, ensuring synchronized, unified and efficient operations across the province.
