The Government chief just gave a nod to allow chairmen of provincial-level People’s Committees attend socio-economic discussions through video-conference since the Government’s March regular meeting.
Accordingly, local leaders will be able to voice their opinions on issues of the government’s concern.
The Vietnam Post and Telecommunication Group (VNPT) was entrusted by the PM to early install necessary equipment in all offices of People’s Committees at the latest of March 25.
The move serves to realize the e-government, thrift practice, and better management of the Government and the PM in a timely, flexible and effective manner.
It is reported that, PM Nguyen Tan Dung required both ministerial-level agencies and Government bodies to host video conferences.
