Members of the steering committee who attended the celebration included HE Dr. Ibrahim Assaf minister of finance, HE Eng. Mohamed Jamil Mulla minister of communications & information technology, HE Eng. Abdul Aziz Darab governor of the communications and information technology commission. Prominent figures who played significant roles in Yesser's journey including KACST president Dr. Ibrahim Suweil, vice minister of education Dr. Khaled Al-Sibti and ex-governor of communications and information technology Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Ja'fari attended the celebration.
Yesser director general Eng. Ali bin Saleh Al-Sama reviewed main achievements of phase 1 and prospects of phase 2. He commended the enormous support the e-Government Program enjoys from the kingdom's leadership in order to transform the kingdom into the information society. He said the concerted efforts of all government agencies contributed directly to realization of these achievements.
The celebration program included an audiovisual presentation that reflected the infrastructure projects and other projects completed in phase 1 while major features of phase 2 were highlighted.
Profiles of Dr. Suweil, Dr. Sibti and Dr. Ja'fari were presented. The three officials were honored for their explicit contribution to the journey of "Yesser".
Members of the steering committee, members of the second action plan consultant committee and government agencies that contributed to preparations for the 2012 UN measurement have received trophies. Governor of the communication and information technology commission delivered two trophies to minister of finance and minister of communications and information technology. Yesser's employees who served for five years were also honored by the Program.
