The Minister of Communications and Information Technology Eng. Mohammed Jamil bin Ahmed Mulla disclosed today that the Program of Transformation Into E-Government has received generous support from the Saudi leadership amounting to approximately SR 3 billion.
Opening here today a workshop of 3rd Measurement Mechanism of Transformation into Electronic Governmental Dealings, he emphasized the need for intensifying the efforts of all governmental bodies in transformation into the E-Government in implementation of the royal directives.
The minister noted that the measurement report on transformation into E-Government aims to identify the situations of these bodies and the progress achieved in transformation into E-Government.
The workshop was attended by more than 300 representatives from more than 150 governmental bodies.
