Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities inaugurates e-licensing for travel and tourism agencies
Following the inauguration ceremony, Prince Sultan honored the project's team, and stressed the importance of maintaining momentum in the field of electronic transactions, which is helping SCTA and the private sector to develop interrelations through the latest technology going forward.
Prince Sultan expressed his personal support to SCTA's outstanding national cadres and investing in them with necessary training. At the end of the ceremony, Prince Sultan handed over the merit certificates to the members of the team.
The licensing system comes as an extension to the electronic applications applied by SCTA in line with the draft e-governance project, in which SCTA has reached advanced stages. This e-program is SCTA's fourth program, after e-systems for tourism trip organizers, tourism guides, and timeshare.
