In alignment with the e-government initiative and the Ministry of Education’s ongoing commitment to digital transformation, the Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Adel Al-Adwani, announced the launch of a new electronic platform named “Takamul.” In a recent press statement, Prof. Al-Adwani detailed how Takamul aims to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of project management within the Ministry of Education. The platform will display statistics from various reports and convert them into digital indicators.

Prof. Al-Adwani emphasized the importance of leveraging digital technology to achieve integration among the relevant sectors under a comprehensive digital framework. This framework includes all initiatives and plans related to the sectors’ specializations, ensuring they are managed in an integrated and effective manner according to digital measurement standards. This approach is intended to develop project management methods in line with the state’s focus on development, precision, and swift achievement.

One of the primary goals of the Takamul system is to utilize technology to enable decision-makers within the Ministry of Education to monitor and follow up on operational plans, particularly the readiness plans for the 2024-2025 academic year. The system will facilitate periodic evaluation, measurement, and monitoring of performance, contributing to increased efficiency in job performance and productivity. Each sector will have full responsibility for implementing its assigned tasks.

The Takamul platform also aims to provide sector-specific data to identify strengths and weaknesses, analyze this data into indicators, numerical statistics, and charts, and monitor sector performance through numbers. This will help review project completion rates to ensure the desired results are achieved, shorten the document cycle, promote decentralization, rationalize spending, measure performance, and enhance governance.

Prof. Al-Adwani praised the efforts of the team working on the Takamul platform from all sectors. He acknowledged their dedication to keeping pace with the rapid advancements in digital transformation and governance. This effort reflects the government’s ambitious vision for an advanced and sustainable digital future and its commitment to applying the latest digital technologies and standards to improve operational efficiency and productivity within the Ministry of Education.
