Kuwait is currently on the verge of completing phase two of the electronic gateway project that will combine governmental institutions electronically, noted an official on Sunday.
The announcement was made by Deputy Director-General of Kuwait's Central Agency for Information Technology (CAIT) Abdulatif Al-Sarea during a keynote speech held on the occasion of the Agency's special award for the promotion of informatics culture in the local community from the ICDL GCC Foundation, the regional arm of the European Computer Driving Licence in the Gulf.
Al-Sarea said that phase two of the electronic gateway aims to employ the most up-to-date international standards in the field of e-government services, inviting all government bodies to make use of this.
