On May 10, the Council of Ministers adopted a resolution and a series of orders in electronic form, BelTA reports.
The documents were processed with the help of the FlexEDoc system developed by the Council of Ministers.
The decree “On Changing of the Composition of the Board of the State Committee on Property”, which was adopted on Friday, was issued in the Belarusian language.
“The Council of Ministers, republican government bodies and other organizations subordinate to the government are actively expanding the use of e-government in their daily work. Thus, about 90% of the correspondence comes to the Council of Ministers office from government agencies in the form of electronic documents,” the government noted.
By the end of the year, government agencies plan to completely abandon the use of paper in official correspondence.
In the UN last year’s e-government ranking, Belarus ranked 38th among 193 countries, overtaking, for example, Lithuania.
