Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif affirmed the provincial government’s dedication to fostering an environment conducive to technological innovation and investment.
During a meeting with Yu Shaoning, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Huawei Pakistan, on Saturday, she emphasized the government’s resolve to harness modern technologies for enhancing governance, public services, and economic development.
The Chief Minister reviewed various proposals and recommendations for utilizing Huawei’s technical expertise in digitization. Discussions included potential collaborations in sectors such as Smart City initiatives and exploring investment opportunities within the digital economy.
Yu Shaoning committed to supporting Punjab’s technological initiatives, while Senator Pervaiz Rashid, Additional Secretary Sara Hayat, and other relevant officials also attended the meeting.
