Before the study was drafted, Novi Sad government visited Seoul in June and learned about the ways a city with over 10 million residents is managed.

The eight-member delegation of the City of Novi Sad consisted of engineers who had the opportunity to learn about the processes for the implementation of the smart city concept which entails city focused on the needs of its residents, i.e. providing them with required information in the shortest possible time.

The Study sets clear directions for the development of the smart city concept with the aim of improving the operations of the local government, city administration, public and public utility enterprises and organizations founded by the city government. If implemented, the Study will make the public sector much more efficient, all to the end of better meeting the needs of the citizens and local businesses.
