A 30-member delegation from the 10th Brunei-Malaysia-Singapore Leadership Development Programme 2018 (Brunei Leg) visited Comquest Sdn Bhd, a leading digital transformation company in Brunei Darussalam recently.
According to a press release, the leadership development programme is conducted annually by the Civil Service Institute (IPA) Brunei, Institut Tadbiran Awam Negara (INTAN) Malaysia and Civil Service College (CSC) Singapore.
The theme for this year’s programme in Brunei is ‘Citizen-Centric Civil Services in a Digital World’
Comquest has been chosen by the IPA to showcase a successful Public Private Partnership programme – Darussalam service line 123 is managed by the E-Government National Centre (EGNC) on behalf of the Brunei government and operated by Telekom Brunei Berhad (TelBru) and Comquest Sdn Bhd.
“The project has been running since March 2014 and operates all year round managing over 120 government services spanning various government agencies,” stated the press release.
“The project is considered as one of the successful flagship collaborations between the government and private sector to enhance the citizen experience.”
It was also highlighted that the project is a one of its kind in Southeast Asia and has been consistently showcasing high levels of localisation.
During the visit, General Manager of Comquest Gaurav Shrotriya briefed the delegates on various facets of the project including the engagement and delivery model, technology innovation, training and upskilling of people along key success criteria.
In addition, Operations Manager Hajah Juridah Maidin led the visiting delegates for a walkthrough of the operations centre and explained the standard operating procedure.
“The visit was well appreciated by the participants and concluded with the note that this project offered learning points for delegates from all the three countries,” the press release added.
