E-Hijrah focuses on both the structural elements of ICT, such as devices and networks, and the essence of ICT which is to improve the quality of education from improving learning opportunities to making the Ministry more efficient. The Minister of Education, Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Kerna Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Abu Bakar bin Haji Apong stressed the matter in his keynote address at the launch of the e-Hijrah initiative, this afternoon.
The e-Hijrah initiative is to unify and align the implementation of various ICT programs in line with the objectives of Vision 2035, SPN21 and the e-Government Strategic Plan. The two-day event also involves a series of workshop. The conference took place at Universiti Brunei Darussalam.
