In the continuing effort to provide better quality and convenient delivery of services to the public, the Government has made arrangements to enable payments of electricity and water bills be made through several banks in the country including the Baiduri and Standard Chartered Bank. This is in line with the objective of the 2009 to 2014 e-government strategic plan.
Baiduri Bank offers 6 payment channels, including the bank automated teller machine, ATM, internet banking, cash deposit machine, cheque deposit machine and phone banking. Payments can also be made over the counter. Meanwhile, Standard Chartered Bank customers can make their electricity and water bill payments through the bank counters, ATM Machines, Cheque Deposit Machines and Internet Banking.
