A Nationwide government Citizen Survey will be conducted to identify which government services need to be made available online. It is in accordance with the government Strategic Plan 2009-2014, and this survey is open to all citizens and residents of Brunei, according to a press release.

The survey will be launched on December 4. Participants will be able to fill-in online surveys at www.egovcitizensurvey2009.gov.bn or at Brunei-Muara services counter of the government, namely: Labour Department, Immigration and National Registration, Mail Processing Centre and the Land Transport Department.

Road shows will also be held in all four districts. On December 4, Tutong Sports Complex, Tutong; and First Bumiputra Complex, Temburong. On December 6, Sungai Basong Community Hall, Tutong. On December 8, The Mall, Gadong; Labour Department, Brunei-Muara; Immigration and National Registration Department, Brunei-Muara. On December 12, The Mall, Gadong; Mail Processing Centre, Old Airport; and Land Transport Department, Brunei-Muara. On December 13 - subject to changes - Supa Save, Belait; Soon Lee, Belait; and Pasar Tudung Saji, Belait. On December 15 - subject to changes - Shell Coffee Bean, Seria. On December 20, Pekan Bandar, Temburong.

Each participant who completes the survey will receive a participation gift and will be eligible for the grand prizes, provided names and IC number are given.

This survey is a joint initiative between the Prime Minister's Office and Infocom Federation Brunei (IFB) in collaboration with the government National Centre (EGNC) and Brunei Accenture Group (BAG) Networks Sdn Bhd.
