Forty new egovernment services will be offered in the upcoming months, announced Minister for Investment, Industry and information Technology (IT) on Monday while inaugurating an electronic service permitting computer users to apply for public service jobs.
After Malta’s egovernment services were classified as the second most sophisticated and the third most extensive in the European Union, the Minister said that the achieved levels of success will be improved further.
Minister Gatt said that the processing format will be changed and a tender covering the 40 new egovernment services has been issued.
The process is to shorten the time required to produce the services, increase the economies of scale and obtain better prices.
